Well, That's what I do!  I've attended so many classes and conferences, it would make your head spin!  Now, I've learned so much about every subject area and have been all over the nation attending and presenting on different curricular areas.


Me, in a nutshell...

• I've been teaching for 27 years now in an elementary setting.  
• I teach at Lucille Roybal-Allard Elementary School in Huntington Park, Ca. I'm proud to say I am one of the founders of the school. Our team worked for two years writing a plan to create the best educational setting for our community.  Luckily, the district liked it too and awarded the school to us!
• I am also an National Board Certified Teacher.  My certification is in Literacy: Reading-Language Arts.   
• I also was awarded Teacher of the Year 2017-18 for Los Angeles Unified School District.  What a great honor!
• I've taught K-5.  I primarily teach upper grades.  I usually loop with my kids from fourth to fifth grade and back.  It's great for the kids and me!  I really get to know the kids and their families.
