This Book Just Ate My Dog by Richard Byrne

So you've heard the excuse about the dog eating the homework, right?  Well, this is a variation on that.  I saw it at Target and had to pick it up for a gift.

So Bella is taking a walk across the page, when all of a sudden, her dog disappears!  Right in the middle of the page!

Where did he go?

Well, Bella noticed anything that reached the middle of the book simply disappeared.

So she decided to investigate....BAD IDEA!

There appears a note...

If the reader kindly shakes the book, everything reappears!

And things went back to normal...well, not quite!!

Cute picture book which I think kids will enjoy.  No huge message, just fun.  Appropriate for ages 4-7.
